Portugal – Europe’s best-kept secret for beach lovers

One of many reasons why Portugal is one of Europe’s gems is its stunning coastline stretching over 800 kilometers! There are plenty of secluded covers and gorgeous beaches. Its Atlantic location provides cooler water temperatures than the Mediterranean, making it perfect for surfing and water sports. With all that being said, discovering the world’s most beautiful beaches can’t be done without Portugal.

One of many reasons why people decide to move to Portugal from the US is not only the beautiful beaches, but the affordable lifestyle. On average, Portugal is 74.9% cheaper than the US! The name of the beach translates to ‘beach of the rocks’ in English, as it is named after the impressive rock formations that surround it.

Praia da Luz

Once a fishing village, this charming place is heaven for people who wish to kick back and simply relax. While the place feels secluded, it definitely isn’t.
